Nike Yoga
For Every Body
For the launch of Nike’s focused yoga category, we created 6 sets of content (including short films, articles, and posts across the Nike App and social channels) to show how yoga is not just one type of person—it is beneficial to anybody. Each individual was given a forum to share what yoga brings to their lives, and to share helpful tips from their own practice and lifestyle. From Nicole Cardoza, an entrepreneur focused on making wellness accessible for all; to Skateboarder Yancy Schwartz who uses his yoga practice to vibrate higher. There’s Lauren Ash who founded Black Girl in Om with the goal of creating a wellness culture specifically for black women. And NBA Champion Kevin Love who integrates yoga into his personal pursuit of greatness both on and off the court. All proof that yoga is for everybody. And every body.
Created in April/May of 2020, these stories presented an interesting challenge: how to create moving, engaging content when all photoshoots and interviews have to happen remotely. We crafted our path to success by setting a visual language focused on capturing the imperfections and unexpected moments within each photo shoot, allowing each person to tell their story in their own way, and adding our own graphic texture to tie it all together.
